Description

These air fryer chicken thighs are crispy outside, juicy inside, and packed with flavor. A quick and easy meal for any night of the week.

Ingredients

Scale

4 bone-in chicken thighs (skin-on)

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

Optional: 1/4 tsp chili powder or cayenne for heat

Instructions

1. Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels to remove moisture.

2. In a small bowl, combine olive oil and all the seasonings.

3. Rub the seasoning mix evenly over the chicken thighs, including under the skin.

4. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

5. Place thighs skin-side up in the air fryer basket without overlapping.

6. Cook for 18–22 minutes, flipping halfway through, until internal temp reaches 165°F.

7. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.

8. Brush with optional glaze during final 2 minutes if desired.

Notes

Boneless thighs can be used but reduce cooking time to 14–16 minutes.

Use a meat thermometer to avoid overcooking.

Resting after air frying keeps the chicken juicy.

Store leftovers in the fridge up to 3 days and reheat in air fryer at 375°F for 3–4 minutes.
