Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs (680g) boneless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/2 cup (60g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup (120g) seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp (5g) paprika
  • 1.5 tsp (7.5g) salt
  • 1 tsp (5g) black pepper
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) vegetable oil

Instructions

  • Cut chicken thighs into uniform 1-inch cubes
  • Prepare three bowls: flour with garlic, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs with paprika, salt, and pepper
  • Triple-coat each chicken piece: dust with flour, dip in egg, press into breadcrumbs
  • Divide chicken into air fryer basket and brush oil on all sides
  • Air fry at 400°F (204°C) for 15-18 minutes, shaking basket halfway through
  • Check chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) internal temperature

Notes

Use gluten-free flour for dietary restrictions
Panko breadcrumbs or crushed cornflakes enhance crunch
For extra flavor, add Italian seasoning to the breadcrumb mixture
